The authorities of China, where there are 350 mln. smokers, decided to reduce tobacco consumption. But the matter concerns not real life, but a virtual one. Chinese movies and television series got under the press of fighters with unhealthy habit.

Public administration on broadcasting activities of Chinese Peoples Republic was accused of excessive scenes of smoking cigarettes on TV. As a result the producers were asked to cut the scenes where heroes smoke cigarettes very busily.

To all appearances, scientist from research center Beijing of advised Public administration to do this. Official authority of China has been always powerful and crafty. Especially since there are various methods to punish men of movie and TV art who ignored the instructions, no matter how popular and outstanding he is.

Indeed, Chinese TV heroes smoke a lot. The workers from Beijing research center figured out that 36% of TV series for the last two years, smoker with cigarette appears every 12 minutes.
